History:

Established in 1964 the Lake Charles Yacht Club has been a club for those in this area who love to sail. The LCYC currently has about 110 memberships. There are approximately 45 slipped boats and about 60 beach and trailer sailed boats.

Directions and Map

The Lake Charles Yacht Club is located next to I10 on Lake Charles and in the City of Lake Charles, LA. Lake Charles both the City and Lake are located approximately 30 miles form the Texas Louisiana State Line and approximately 35 miles from the Gulf of Mexico.

Directions to LCYC:

East Bound Take I10 to Lake Charles after crossing bridge take first exit (Exit 30A), stay on the access road and circle under the Interstate headed back to the west. Continue on access road and again circle under I10 (I10 bridge turn around). As you make your turn toward the east immediately turn right into the beach entrance continue turning right towards the west and the LCYC.

West Bound take I10 to Lake Charles, take Exit 29 follow access road and circle under I10 (I10 bridge turn around). As you make your turn back toward the east immediately turn right into the beach entrance continue turning right towards the west and the LCYC.
